Alternate accounts
GameSentry links accounts that shared an IP address or a subnet, and also uses other signals such as Steam friends. Each link has a confidence level, and staff can confirm it.
- Players need at least one session before they can be linked.
- Players on different networks are not linked.
- Shared networks and VPNs can link people who are not the same person.
Threat level
Each player gets a score that becomes a level: Clean, Low, Moderate, High or Critical. It weighs VAC and game bans, Steam profile signals, bans in other organizations, reports, strikes and alternate accounts, and lowers the score for mature accounts with a real game history. Open the breakdown to see what moved it.
Both are signals for a human decision, not proof. Always look at the full profile before acting.
Players not checked yet show Not assessed instead of Clean. A player with a VAC or game ban is never shown as Clean.
